Technical Consulting and
Engineering Support
Step 1: Initial Consultation and Project Assessment
The process begins with an initial consultation between ILC team and the project architect or interior designer, based on the scope of work given to ILC team, to discuss project requirements, objectives, and scope.
ILC team conducts a thorough assessment of the project, including site conditions, structural considerations, design constraints, and technical requirements.
Step 2: Structural Design, Testing and Analysis
ILC team to engage a Structural engineer with architects and designers to develop structural designs for natural stone elements, such as cladding systems, facades, columns, and arches.
By this we can determine final thicknesses and dimensions which could be used for future value engineering analysis
Step 3: Cut lists / shop tickets
ILC will prepare cutting lists and shop tickets based on the approved coordinated drawings issued for construction by the contractor
Cutting lists and shop tickets are indispensable tools in the fabrication process, providing detailed instructions for cutting, shaping, and assembling natural stone materials. These documents ensure precise execution by outlining dimensions, patterns, and specifications, facilitating seamless coordination between installers and production teams
By following these step-by-step guidelines, the natural stone consultancy provides comprehensive engineering support to clients, architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring the successful design, fabrication, and installation of natural stone elements in their projects.
